Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 12 -- "Joseph: God's Story" In this the final lecture of the series we slow down and look at the detail in the tapestry of God's story through the life of Joseph. Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 9 -- "Joseph: From bad to worse...or was it?" Joseph plunges from a life as the favored son to slave and then to prisoner, but God was with him and had it all under control! Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 8 -- "Joseph: Getting Started" With this lecture we kick off a 5 week series on the life of Joseph. Scripture has much to teach us! Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 7 -- "Job: Joy in Suffering" God gives hope in the midst of suffering....joy even! It is His gift to us! Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 6 -- "Job:The Realities of Suffering" This week we will take a detour of sorts and study from Job about some of the realities of suffering. Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 5 -- "Jacob's Altar" We finish up our journey with Jacob this week and study the significance of the altar he built. Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 4 -- "Lessons Learned from Rachel and Leah" Several lessons jump out from the passage about Rachel and Leah. They apply to all women....young or old...single or married! Walking Through the Stories 2 - Lesson 3 - "The Power of Words" How are you using your words? Remember that they have the power to bless or destroy! Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 2-- "Jacob, Esau and the Birthright" The focus of this week is on the birthright and what it means to us today! Walking Through the Stories 2 -- Lesson 1 -- "Isaac" This week we will be delving in to Genesis 24 and the finding of a bride for Isaac. What a rich story! |
